A bit lighter and fruitier than many Browns I have tasted, but definitely hit the spot after searching for the brewery and needing to slake my thirst. The color was dark, making the smoother taste a bit of a pleasant surprise. Although the flavors were varied, no one element dominated, making for an intriguing (and pleasant) experience. A great beer if you want to sit back and enjoy company and have more than one!

Served on-draught into a stemgoblet at Nørrebro Bryghus. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a one finger head of soft cream, decent thickness, and poor retention. Solid brown-black colour. Nontransparent.
Sm: Esters of fruit, caramel, caramelized malt, cream, chocolate, raspberry, and toffee. No alcohol comes through. A mild strength aroma.
T: Some coffee, some moderately strong fruit esters, espresso, chocolate, toffee, and pleasant underlying cream. Very complex and well built. Very nicely balanced.
Mf: Smooth and wet, complementing the flavours nicely.
Dr: Easy to drink, with an above average ABV, and pretty quality. It's certainly a brew to give a go.
