Like a shining Northern Star, this Christmas ale stands reddish-amber-gold, with a good mouthfeel.
There are flavor notes of cloves and cinnamon together with a hint of fir needles from the hops, which give the beer a reminder of the joys of Christmas.

Copenhagen 21/12 2021. 33 cl can from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. N. Nørrebro Bryghus’ usual can design which looks like a Math book from the seventies in a purple version with yellow and orange ornaments.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - amber with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patches of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with Christmas spices and citrus. Lightly toasted malts, cinnamon, ginger, cloves. Whiff of citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate sourness. Aftertaste is a bit thin and sourish with a sweetly spicy undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit heavy on the Christmas spices.
