Copenhagen 22/5 2021. 44 cl can from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus (formerly Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel), Strandboulevarden. Kbh. Ø. Star Trek type waiting to beam up his beer to the mothership on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, pale yellow with a mid-sized, dense white head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light malty sweet odor mingling with stronger citric scents. Sweet pale malts. Grapefruit in abundance. A bit of lime and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric sour bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and a little thin. Lingers shortly. Finish is fairly dry.
Grapefruity indeed. More flavoring than lager but refreshing.
