Copenhagen 4/6 2020. 44 cl can from Kvickly Allerød. Drawing on the can pays homage to the animation movie Megamind with an angry fish inside a bowl posturing as head on a artificial torso. By the way: The torso is flying propelled by a jet motor.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - pale yellow with medium-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light malty sweetness and slightly stronger citric sourness. Sweet pale malts, grass, lemongrass and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Finish is semi-dry.
Mediocre Pilsener. Not terrible in any way - but a bit generic and could use a touch of additional bitterness.
