Copenhagen 1/12 2021. 44 cl can from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Shiny can in pink, light green and purple with a bowl of foaming beer, fireworks, champagne cork and colorful eyes.
Pours slightly unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with tart, citric notes. Peach and passion fruit. Caramel. Tart gooseberries and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling, gentle texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweetish.
Not exactly champagne - but refreshing enough.
