Our classic porter brewed with organic malt, oat and hops. Nordvest Porter brings a powerful aroma around the table and a rich and deep brown colour. Notes of dried fruit and milk chocolate gives the beer a round and sweet taste, just the way a real porter lovers wants it.

Copenhagen 26/3 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Rødovre Centrum. Nørrebro Bryghus’ usual geometric flowery design in dark brown, white, beige and red.
Pours opaque dark brown with medium-sized light beige head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is not very strong. Sweet caramel, lightly roasted malts, coffee, brown sugar, salty licorice.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture.
Flavor is moderately sweet followed by a slightly stronger coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-ish with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
A bit weak nose but has a good bitter Flavor. Not exactly what they promise on the label but certainly decent.
