Copenhagen 3/2 2019. 40 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Dark purple version of Nørrebro Brewery usual design.
Pours slightly hazy, dark amber with small white head. Disappears more or less after a minute. No lacing.
Aroma is sweetish and spicy. Caramel, ginger, cough drops. Lighter citric overtones.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery yet oily texture.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by a medium strong herbal bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with citric, ginger-like undercurrent.
A bit strange - but this beer reminds me more of a Ginger-beer than a Altbier.
