Copenhagen 2/12 2018. 33 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus. Drawing of Blue Van decorated with Christmas accessories on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a dense beige head. Settles as fine, thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is pleasant and bitter sweet. Manages to cover the notable ABV pretty well. Dark fermented fruit. Plums and apricots. Brown sugar. Light spicy bitterness.
Very light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, creamy texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is heavy sweet. Followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Very light alcoholic burn.
I cannot figure out what Santa's lap has to do with it. But it is certainly not suited for children. Nice soft and Imperial.
