Copenhagen 17/12 2017. 33 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. The usual little chubby bottle with a label made out to look like a post-it. Cute.
Pours hazy - to the point of opacity - golden yellow with a dense white head. Settles as a thin layer struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is typical Witbier - lemonade, oranges and tart berries - but with a spicy edge. Mostly lightly the bitter buck thorn. But not overly herbal.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is quite thin although pleasant. Medium sweet balanced by medium herbal bitterness. Disappears fairly fast.
A Witbier with a little twist. In my opinion the twist is not big enough to justify the name - but still an enjoyable Wit.
