Tucked away on the campus of Metro State, this might be hard to find unless—like me—you just happen to pass by it. A brewery on campus--how cool is that? Beautiful interior space with an active production brewery.

The vibe is pretty damng cool in here. A historical building that I think used to be a brewery when it was built but don't quote me on that. Round bar right up front with a lower bar and a semi industrial feel. Brewery is visible from everywhere in the building.

Quality is decent the beers are tasty, but the roadrunner red could be more full bodied. Not an amazing beer but it was pretty good.

Service is ok, the staff seemed interested more in their conversations and the football game then making sure people are doing good.

Selection was actually a bit depressing. Only 5 house beers were listed on their tap list, but I thought I saw somebody with a Hazy IPA that I didn't see on the menu but it was difficult to get staff attention to ask.

The food was actually very nice. Fries have a fun seasoning and are very crispy, amd the burger was juicy and again seasoned very well. They were sold out of sweet potato fries when I was there though.

A bit hard to find in the Auraria student center, but worth a visit, especially if you're going to an event at Pepsi Center nearby. Food's much better than you'd expect here, and they have a dozen of their own beers plus some other stuff available on tap. I stuck to their brews, because why wouldn't you? Nice mix, slanting toward more traditional European styles when I went, but I'll be back to see what they have at other times of the year.

Hopping on a Thursday happy hour. Consistently high quality across the range of in-house brews. Service was attentive at the bar and bartenders were really knowledgeable. Selection was really strong, with 10 house taps and 30 guest taps from a short list of breweries. (Food was average.)

V-We visited after work on a Thursday. At 5:30 the place was packed with hockey game fans waiting for the Avs game, but it mellowed after a while. The bar is kind of a strange layout that feels cramped even if there aren't that many people inside, but the building is cool. Lots of exposed brick and old brewery equipment to be seen. Too many TVs for my preference, but the patio looks on to Auraria campus, which is nice.

Q-The in-house beers are good and if you are a lager/German beer fan, they have good variety that is tough to find in today's IPA/barrel-aged-sour beer-centric culture. I tried a Tivoli Vienna Lager and a Tivoli Marzen and both were quite drinkable and above-average, but not amazing.

Ser-Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers she was slinging. The beers were a little slow to arrive at first, but glassware was appropriate and the pours were done correctly.

Sel-I didn't count, but the Tivoli has a good number of beers on tap. Selection varied from in-house offerings to lesser-known Colorado craft to a few out-of-state breweries like Pipeworks. It was a pleasant surprise to see so many lower ABV/non-sour/non-beer-of-the-moment offerings.

F-We just had appetizers (wings and pot stickers), but they were pretty tasty. I'm not a wing connoisseur, but I enjoyed the sriracha variant hot wings a lot and the pot stickers had nice heat in the dipping sauce.

O-This place was a pleasant surprise for me. Good beers on offer and nice selection. The vibe splits the difference between beer geek, sports bar, and TGI Fridays.

Cool historic brewery pouring a bunch of good Colorado brews. The Tivoli beers are solid. Worth a visit.

I love the whole idea of this brewery; an almost-forgotten brewery, Tivoli, is resurrected from it's ashes and reclaims it's beautiful historic home on Auraria Campus. In doing so, it gives the Auraria Campus a new in-house brewing degree program, gives the students a brewery to visit and enjoy, and it teams up with the college's renowned hospitality/restaurant program to provide experience in running a brewery or taphouse.

Really cool spot, located in the upper floors of the historic Tivoli Brewing Building. It's a nice mix of wood and glass and stainless steel, modern with a touch of the mountains. Sharp Tivoli old-school light bulb sign looks great. Space is dominated by the enormous brew tanks seemingly suspended in a glass box. The bar itself is relatively small, though it does lead up a small flight into a larger seating area, with a beautiful view of downtown Denver through the huge windows filling the east wall. Scattered seating in the form of bar stools, tables and some booths.

Food is available, basic bar fare with a twist. Had some julienne fries, they were really good, but don't know about everything else, but it all sounds pretty good.

I've only drank Tivoli beer when I visited, so I don't have a good sense of how extensive their tap list is, though I did see Grimm Bros on tap. I'm confident they have a decent selection of guest taps. Tivoli's beers are mediocre, unfortunately, with their flagship brew being quite poor. I won't rate harshly as they are a new brewing just getting into a new space. The space itself is awesome and really a cool spot to visit. The location and vibe makes me want to keep coming back and see how their beer improves over the years.

Overall, I love it. Hopefully it becomes a new landmark for the Denver beer scene.

this place rules. maybe the best kept beer secret in denver right now. so they have their main three beers they make, but people forget these guys are also a distributor, and they have an awesome range of taps from some of their breweries. high hops, gravity, back country, grimm brothers, aspen, even pipeworks out of chicago was pouring there. until recently their beers have been being made at prost from what i understand. nothing crazy yet, stuff they used to make back in the day for the most part. the space is awesome, in the student union building on the denver metro campus, cant believe people dont know about this yet. its going to blow up i think. i didnt eat, but the food looked good, and the tap list was super impressive. they have a cool mix of old and new brewing equipment too, and the vibe is neo industrial, hip but functional, very cool, i loved it. service was also excellent, knowledgeable and engaging. i had a blast here and cant wait to go back. the tivoli beers themselves are pretty straight up, well done but simple, but they have an enormous selection of brands they distribute all in a really original place. great times.

edit: these guys are now also operating a brewery out at the airport, hooked up with toms urban for the restaurant side. there are visible tanks and stuff here, a neat and modern space, and lots of tivoli beers on tap at the long bar, but i was unable to find anything different or outside of their normal lineup here, it seems like they are just making their core beers and nothing else out here. i was hoping for some unique airport only brews, but didnt see any when i was in. maybe thats in the future plans, but their downtown space is way cooler either way! service was also insanely bad here, more on toms urban than tivoli, but poor enough to mention it here...
