L - oh boy, been hearing a lot about this one recently... let's see what's what. I do like the label! Pours a summery glowing orange. Moderate haze but nothing too crazy.
S - wut? This smells like straight apple juice. Or musty apple cider. Quite a pungent orange cleaning solution too.
T - woof. If it tasted like cider too, I could've dealt. This is not good. Astringent and bitter. Mulled cider gone bad. Brown bananas and crab grass. Hints of that heavily aged (both intentionally and unintentionally) cheese I found in the back of my girlfriend's cousin's boyfriend's apartment in Lyon, France that one time. We're still not sure if it went bad or if it was just the French way, but shit, it certainly was... cultured.
F - I can't even remember what this feels like. Still reeling over that taste. Let's try again... actually not bad. It's tough to be objective and separate the categories here, though. Medium-low carbonation and decent enough body.
O - goddamn, that aftertaste. It just doesn't quit! I have to take another sip just to beat it back, which of course restarts the process all over again... now I'm all for fermented apples just as much as the next guy, but I think we can safely conclude that apple cider vinegar beer was a failed experiment.

OMG! This was the nastiest thing I had ever put in my mouth!! I saved one for my cousin to try when he came home from the base. I thought it would be funny like Beanboozled (the jelly beans that taste like diapers, barf, old socks, earwax, etc.), but instead we'll call it Beerboozled. I handed my cousin a can and he cracked it open. He took a sip and looked at me with his head tilted. He said, "What is this? Some kind of joke?" I told him it wasn't a joke. I just wanted to make sure my senses weren't deceiving me. He confirmed it was disgusting and said he didn't even think he could drink it even if he was plastered. Really disappointing. The Boom! series were good, so I thought this one would be good too, nope! It's like beer coalesced with an old foot.

Appearance – Thin layer of head on a clear yellow body.
Aroma – Citrus, grape, and other slightly sweet fruity notes.
Taste – Pine, light tropical fruits, grapes.
Mouthfeel – Full, not too thick.
Overall – Pretty good and not too heavy as some DIPAs can be.

What the heck happened to this beer, I think there's a new brewer right? I heard good things about Steady Habit but they are taking their brand and throwing it off a cliff here.
Fresh 16oz can, poured into a tulip glass. Good looks from the pour, nice and hazy with a good head. Pretty mild aroma some bitter malts and a touch of hops. Flavor is totally off. Lots of malts, weird aftertaste, bitter with a lemony flavor, some soap, almost non-existent hops. Feel is ok, I suppose, but this was a drain pour. Yikes. Hope they get their crap together.

A: slight haze; medium gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a splotchy cap; no lacing;
S: pungent; it clearly reminded me of brie - I've definitely never smelled that in a beer before now;
T: follows the nose - enough said;
O: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;
O: don't know if this was a bad batch or the intended result; it is certainly a beer I would not choose to drink again;

There must have been something wrong with this batch. Can was only a few weeks old. Upfront taste was ok but the aftertaste was horrible.

32oz growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy, vibrant burnt orange with a half inch of head. Some lacing. The aroma is sweet, fleshy fruits. Peach, nectarine, pineapple, lime, and tangerine. The taste is more citrus this time around with some lemon and lime, tangerine and grapefruit. Herbal hops towards the end with some citrus peel. Lightly toasted malts in the background. Bit of a white wine finish. Chewy, oily mouthfeel. Moderate alcohol presence. I lucked out in getting this one and I'm glad I did. Worth having again.
