L - looks amazing. Cloudy and hazy. Tree House quality. Orange juice.
S - straight orange. A tangerine clementine orange. Lighter to the point where the scale tips into coriander territory. Not sure if like. Light and fruity. Kinda skunky. Interesting for sure, but not in a good way.
T - holy Galaxy hops. Too much Galaxy. Way too much. Tastes like a blue moon. Okay, maybe not that bad, but it's not good. Very wheaty but also tangy. Has a good amount of unripe orange peel, but lacks the juiciness you'd expect. Dryness sucks all the sweetness out, leaving you with a bitter coriander finish. Not good and almost unpleasant to drink.
F - not bad. Light, but also smooth and creamy.
O - this beer is a mess. Seems like the reviews here are all over the place. Love it or hate it. I'm in the latter boat.

Fresh-filled growler from 1/16/16, a day before Steady Habit's first anniversary. Note that I have NOT let the growler sit in the fridge for a month like the guy below me. Yeesh, why bother reviewing? Anyway, I've previously reviewed when it was AHAAD:Galaxy, but here we go again.
Look: Mmmmm, extra pulp orange juice, but a bit paler. Fantastic lacing, absolutely stunning.
Smell: Very expressive tropical fruits: papaya, mango, guava, with a little tangerine and peachy goodness there as well.
Taste: Lots of tangerine and orange peel weaving its way through the tropical bounty. Mango plays a mean second fiddle here, though there's a TON of flavors here. The thing that makes Steady Habit stand out to me is that, despite their IPAs being hazy fruit bombs, they're still quite bitter, AND they finish dry. World class.
Feel: Steady Habit is right up there with Hill Farmstead for best IPA mouthfeel. See all my other Steady Habit reviews for further explanation.
Overall: This is a fantastic showcase for Galaxy hops, and an amazingly delicious beer in its own right. Another stellar effort from Steady Habit.

Thin watery murky mess. This is the worst IPA I have had from this stellar brewery. All I can taste is orange juice and the mouthfeel is very thin. No depth of character. No balance. Yea I've had it in the fridge a few weeks but that never mattered with their other ipa's which are much better. Very disappointed.
This beer needs work.

Once poured it was murky and hazy - once again just like i like my ipa's. I felt this stood up with all the new england galaxy hopped beers. Jon killed it with this one. The galaxy hops jump out at you - very juicy. Jons getting dialed in on this one - dont miss it

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
