--Regular brown bottle, no freshness date.
--Poured an average, golden in color. Head started out nice but diminished pretty quickly. Some lacing.
--Smell was average, a little sweet but less than I anticipated.
As my score states, this was a very average beer. Like Homer would say..."it was good, but not great". I think I was just expecting more. It is not a beer to complain about, but nothing to rant about either.
Thx

This is a very clear, light golden coloured ale. Unfortunately no head to speak of, although there is decent carbonation action. Light grains, light hops on the nose, very slight herbal tone, most likely from the honey. Flavour is rather nondescript, nothing jumps out, but there are no off flavours either, which keeps it an even 3-average rating. Somewhat grainy on the finish. It has a balanced mouthfeel, I think the honey gives such a light body a bit of a boost. This is quite drinkable stuff, would be fine against a lager of the same caliber if you were looking for light and refreshing, but not a whole lot of flavour to get in the way. I happen to be looking for more flavour though....
