Up on Capitol hill, this seemed a bit out of the way. Small and cozy, restaurant on one side, tap room on the other. Small limited menu, seemed pricey. 4% beers available, stronger stuff available in the cold case on the way out.

Walked in to a half empty place and was told it would be 20 minutes to get seated. I wanted to walk out immediately. But, we stayed. The food was overpriced but ok, beer was decent (I know I'm in Utah). But nothing fit. The vibe was off, it was trying to be hip, but nothing worked. There are better places in salt lake.

Cool little joint up in the avenues of SLC. I enjoyed the chicken and waffles and my SkittleBrau and Gose. Server was very helpful and even took the time to break down the beers with me. Quaint little place.

Stop #470 on my world brewery tour.
Tuesday around 5pm. Sat at the "bar" with two other couples who were deeply engaged in conversation so nobody to chat with. I'm no expert on this, but I believe this bar is a "Zion Curtain" because there is no booze in the actual bar area - just feels like the set of a soap opera. The server has to go to the back to pour your beer and bring it out.
Lief was my super friendly server. I think I was his only custy so I got great attention. I got seven sample at $1 each and a pint of the session IPA. Can say I enjoyed the Bluegrass Brown (Kentucky Common) and the Gose. Everything else was unremarkable. I had a pint of the session IPA which needed a bit more IPA punch and body. The spicy chicken sandwich did not live up to gastro-pub standards.
Really cool view of the city from the drive back down. This is the kind of place I love when the food and beer are dialed in.

Fun microbrewery/restaurant, they serve "gastropub" type fare, great fries, great chicken and waffles, some of the other items can get a bit pricey though. Beers on tap are always a good selection, including some out of the ordinary brews (the Gose for example). They also serve some great cocktails for the non-beer drinkers in your party *shudder*.
