Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with a thick foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both very good. Very nice juicy citrus aroma with slight piney resin. Big juicy citrus taste. Has a good amount of piney bitterness up front. A little on the thinner side but good. Moderate carbonation.

32 oz. half growler filled on Monday afternoon Jan. 22, 2018 and poured into a tulip about 1 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018
L: hazy gold-peach with enough carbonation still available to push up almost a 1/2-inch head of offwhite foam
S: grapefruit bomb ... as it warms, onion jumps in ... the onion gets a little salty and meaty, like onions pan frying with steak in a little olive oil
T: grapefruit again, bitter and fruity at once but the hop bite is pronounced, and then a grain flavor joins ... really good grain, some corn, maybe toasted rice
F: near perfect ... super light, super crispy but never too much from the carbonation ... the carbonation tickles as soon as the beer is in your mouth but the crispness evens out into a thin layer throughout the swallow ... kind of interesting
O: I'm not positive this is "Bomb Cyclone", but it's a Whole Foods IPA brewed at Post Oak and sold at Waugh St., and the ABV is right I think, so I'm putting the review here -- bottom line: *whatever* the one I have is, it's fantastic, an IPA I'd drink over and over; Whole Foods never does me wrong, and when I saw they were brewing their own, I had to try some ... really glad I did, and I'll do so again
