Canary-yellow thick haze w/ a decent finger of foam and spotty lacing. When it comes to turbid looking IPAs, this is about as close to a 5 as you can get. Aromas of gooseberry, grape must, orange peel, peppercorn & white wine. Taste follows w/ bold impressions of passionfruit, specifically kiwi & pear. Hints of lime as well as a distinct floral element that rounds itself into delightful bitterness. Medium bodied on the feel, creamy, somewhat prickly & drying on the back end. Tongue-scraping. This beer is like Thora Birch in the famous window scene from American Beauty. At 10.5% abv, it's definitely not shy, but it's also diving in head first to embrace its vulnerability. Absolute f*cking gas.
