On tap at the brewery. Dark amber color. Aroma was spicy rye. Flavor was soapy and just not to my liking. I actually made the bitter beer face when I tasted this one. Not good.

one of the best grandmas house beers to date, this is a real winner, and probably shows their best and brightest side. its got a bunch of hops in it, but galaxy leads the charge. its a pungent fruity aroma shining through the crystal clear brass colored liquid. pineapple and passionfruit and grapefruit are all there, maybe some northwestern C varietal hops in here too, cascade or something with the galaxy. its all hops in the taste too, juicy and fresh and dosed well. there is some grain body to this, and maybe a hint of leftover sweetness, but its really minimal. even the rye element, which is there in the nose, is pretty tame in the flavor. the hops are the star, but the beer built to show them off is sturdy too, which i like a lot, especially in a cold weather context. fermented on the warm side i would guess for the yeast strain, its not totally flavorless, but the viniferous notes it puts out work really well with the hops. white grape and even peaches in here for a second. a beer of remarkable depth, a great hop schedule going on, and one of the most drinkable beers they have made as well. it really represents a turning point i think. probably their most well crafted beer yet. cant wait for another pint!
