a fun new beer from these guys, nice to see them branching out this wide in terms of style, and they have done a nice job with it. this is the first sour i am aware of them making, and its pretty solid. pours clear for a gose, light golden with a bubbly white layer on top and a ton of carbonation, looks as much like a soda as it does a beer. high lime in the nose, authentic and zesty and really fresh. some acidity to the fruit too, which helps it blend in so well with the lactic sourness that is present, really mouthwatering and appealing. the flavor is good too, very clean for a kettle type sour, none of that cheesy immature weirdness on it, bright acidity, perfect with the lime in the flavor too, and its very limey all the way through. maybe a little thin in body and lacking on grain character, but the salt adds a little weight to it, and i love all the bubbles. really impressive for a first sour beer, a huge leap forward for grandmas house, and honestly one of the better citrus fruit gose styles i have had lately. lots of lackluster beer in this style out there, i was impressed with this.
