This beer has a huge tropical fruit aroma accented by the robust toasted graham cracker aroma contributed by Munich malt.

The potent floral hop flavor is dominated by citrus and pine contributed by Mosaic and Crystal hops. You'll also taste smooth caramel and toasty biscuit flavors due to crystal and Munich malts, with a yeast-derived dry and fruity finish.

Worst beer ever. Tastes like water from a mop bucket.

Pours an orange to dark orange color with thick head and extreme lacing.
Has a kind of sweet aroma mixed with pine overtones.
Taste follows the aroma, sweet from the carmel and biscuits, and pin
Smooth mouth feel and crisp smooth finish.
An enjoyable IPA, more importantly one that I would gladly consume several of during an evening

On draft at WOB-Fayetteville...at first, I seemed old (I've always thought an "old" IPA turned into a barley-wine, usually just the higher %abv ones though.) , but after reading their commercial description, it may have been the "caramel and toasty biscuit flavors"...not really used to those flavors in an IPA, but the interesting thing was, it got much better as it warmed, turning into an enjoyable beverage!

A: Pours a clear medium to dark amber in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint golden yellow + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy tan head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of toasted + biscuit + caramel malts with a moderate aroma of citrus/grapefruit + floral + pine hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted + biscuit + caramel malts with a hint of caramel sweetness. That is followed by just shy of moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit + floral + pine hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.

M: Medium bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp.

O: Fairly well balanced between the malty sweetness and the hoppy bitterness. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable.

Poured from a can into a NB globe. Great looking beer. Pours a dark amber with a nice head that leaves some nice lacing as it dissipates. It is toward the high end of my ABV range but doesn't have a strong alcohol taste. Lively carbonation that isn't very visible in this darkish beer but is definitely there. The taste just works for me, not overly bitter but some bitterness comes through. There may be some citrus notes but they are muted.
