Bright gold with crimson hazy undertones. Very small head leaving a small trace. Smells of pineapple, banana and a hint of cloves. Wish yeast would have a larger presence. Not heavy caramel tones to speak of... tastes heavy and syrupy yet not medicinal at all. Goes down with some effort, substantial feel. Pleasant lack of effervescence, personal choice. Overall it leaves pleasant layers in the palate, wish it was a bit ' bready' yet its the perfect drink at 9.5% ABV to welcome the Fall season.
