A: Pours a dark brick red color. A two finger beige head forms and recedes quickly with some lace left behind.
S: Grains and biscuit malt is up front with a touch of caramel sweetness in the nose. Nothing in the finish after that, would like a bit more heft in both the malt and certainly the hops.
T: Grains, light biscuit malts, a touch of caramel sweetness. Reminds me a bit of Fat Tire. Hardly any hops, and not much of a finish.
M/O: A lighter body than I was expecting, but still crisp and clean. An easy no frills amber to drink, something I could come back to if nothing else is available.
A no frills kind of Amber/Red that you don't have to think a lot about. Which has its place, but would like a bit more heft all around. Not bad for what it is, but plenty better in the area.
