"Like a flat Lonestar." -My flatmate
Cost me an oddly cheap $3.99 USD for a sixer at my local Austin, TX beer store.
"Blonde lager."5.2% ABV. 27 IBU.
Hey, it's drinkable. A creamy lager with a bright malt emphasis and some mild floral hop character. Suffers from some skunky off-flavour. Were it not canned, I'd surmise it was lightstruck.
Carbonation issues are quite severe; this is direly undercarbonated.
Simple and shallow, but very approachable. It'd make a decent summer sipper for casual drinkers, but honestly I'd sooner reach for a Ballantine XXX or Genny if I'm after a budget brew that's bright and clear. This has some basic quality control issues, but they aren't egregious enough to make it truly a bad beer.

Pours a nice bright yellow. crystal clear. white head fades quickly to nothing.
nose is light floral hops, subtle grain, a trace of alcohol?
taste follows. initially a subtle floral hop, follow up a big biscuit, cracker, bready malt character. a little grassy. lightly estery yeast profile?
crisp body with appropriate carbonation
overall a pretty good beer. i've had better pilsners, but i've certainly had worse. would drink again.

Tried directly from the taps at Copperhead, fantastic amber color in the pils glass that turns a beautiful golden the more you drink. The taste is heavy of honeyed wheat, and this fades to a wheat after taste that lingers on the back of the tongue. Over all, this is an incredibly drinkable beer that I would keep in my fridge at all times to have something to drink when I wanted it.
