Tasted directly from the tap at Copperhead, the cherry medusa is a touch lighter than regular medusa and the pour was amazingly foamy. The beer itself is medusa up front with the dark fruit taste followed by an interesting tasting cherry back that lingers for a moment. Over all, I think the regular medusa has a better taste and character, but I can really appreciate this variant and recommend it.

Draft from Growler USA in Austin, TX on August 12, 2017. Looked good, but not much aroma. The cherry didn't show up for me, but very smooth and malty. Great texture. Don't know how this compares to the retired Tart Cherry that seems to have gotten consistent high scores from the few who rated it. Whether this is the same recipe or not, Copperhead nailed it. I would order this again without hesitation if I come across it in the future.
