I had this at the brewery tasting room, served on tap in a 1/2 pint.
The color is black with opaque clarity and creamy beige head with good retention.
The smell is great almost like fresh ground coffee with roasty and slight sweet scents from the bean. The feel is decent moderate roast with smooth bitterness and medium body with a dry finish.
The taste is very good with coffee the focus however a pretty solid standard stout base helps keep the foundation drinkable and no astringency or tannin from the coffee is noticeable, just smooth roasted and semi-sweet cocoa-like flavors in the back. Overall a pretty easy to quaff standard strength coffee stout-worth trying if you enjoy coffee, but not recommended if you only like a light amount of coffee flavor
