Our Pilsner is light, yet not too crisply dry as we maintain the slight delicate malt characteristics of the floor malted barley. Aroma of the German hop blend used is distinct yet not bitter. Clean refreshment at its finest.

Pennsylvania is home to some of the best American made Pilsners, unfortunately some discontinued. This one is inconspicuous within the clear pint glass. There's virtually no head, but that's the Philly way of pouring draft beers. The color of the liquid is very light amber, bright and translucent. The slight aroma of malt and hops comply with expectations from a Pilsner. A heavy body was not expected, but this transitioned from initially light across the tongue to surprisingly full and somewhat heavy in the finish. The malt sweetness is spot on for the style, but missing is most of the nutty aspect which can make good Pilsners delightful. There are some hop characteristics, but no clean and crisp hop finish. Not that much was anticipated, but there was no glass lacing. Not bad, but there are better.

12oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $1.99. Canned on 7/30/2020, so this is just over 3 months old.
Look: Perfectly clear, light golden color. Lots of tiny bubbles rising up the glass. A one inch head upon the pour has reduced to a wispy white layer on the surface.
Smell: Simple aromas of lemony, noble hop character and crackery malt. I get like a white grape fruity flavor on the finish that is interesting.
Taste: Very light and refreshing. This pilsner is nicely balanced. Up front, sweetness and lemony citrus flavors. Then the moderate carbonation leads to a noble hop bittering and spicy finish that leaves some maltiness on the palate. The finish is crisp and dry. Crushable.
Feel: Light to medium bodied.
Overall: A pretty solid German style pilsner. No frills and no flaws. It's probably even better when it's fresher!

Clear golden in body with white bubbly head. Aroma of honey grain and light citrus. Tastes of honey grain, residual sweetness, light citrus, very light bitterness. Light bodied with light carbonation.

12 oz can poured into a Pilsner glass.
Appearance
Straw blonde. Excellent clarity. 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Moderate carbonation. Yeast sediment.
Nose
Cracker, honey, dough, grains, lemon, grass, and florals.
Taste
Cracker, doughy bread, honey, and cereal grains. Grassy and floral hops. Hints of lemon zest, hay, and potpourri.
Mouthfeel
Light bodied, uber-crisp. dry, refreshing, and lightly bitter.
Overall
Take away the rustic notions of hay bales and bathroom potpourri and this is a really nice Pilsner.

I didn't add this beer, but it appears that I am the first to review it.Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a straw color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell has lots of grass, some malts. Taste is malts, some grassiness, a touch of sweetness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and I imagine this would be a beer I could pound many of on a hot summer day.
