473ml can - a fruity and hoppy wheat beer, sign me up!
This beer pours a hazy, yet bright pale golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly bone-white head, which leaves some random chunky lace around the glass as it slowly seeps away.
It smells of gritty and grainy wheat malt, a lesser cereal sweetness, indistinct domestic citrus rind, a further tropical fruitiness (pineapple, guava, and kiwi), a hint of earthy spice, and more understated leafy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is bready and grainy pale malt, some wet wheat crackers, an edgy orange, white grapefruit, and lemon citrus pithiness, subtle estery yeast, and more weedy, herbal, and piney verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly laid-back in its workaday frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and generally smooth, with a wee airy creaminess skulking in when nobody was paying attention, apparently. It finishes trending dry, the mixed hops and fading wheatiness the order of the lingering day.
Overall - this is a rather pleasant and engaging version of that meeting of worlds that is wheat beer and IPA, and when done well, like it is here, it's a joy to put back. Crisp, quaffable (as noted), and totally worthy of checking out, should you get the chance.

An interesting seasonal choice from a Saskatchewan brewery I truly enjoy. This is a super interesting beer - it looks like your typical wheat ale, but has a huge fruit nose. The flavor profile doesn't quite pull all of the fruit forward, but this is still an interesting beer!
