Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Dark brown colored body with a bourbon colored back lit edge. Thin tan head. Leaves behind some lacing webs.
Aroma of semisweet roasted malts and earthy hops.
Taste is roasted malts with some chocolate, a touch of caramel, and a bit of ash. Earthy and floral hops. Some bitterness but level is low. Malts linger in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel with some silkiness, which coats the mouth and tongue. Good carbonation.
Fits for style, and is without adjuncts.
