Pours a clear, gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hint of earthy malt, hint of roasted malt, slight yeast, and a hint of hop. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, slight hop, hint of earthy malt, and a hint of caramel malt. Overall, good aroma and blend, but appearance is lacking. Also, the appearance of a 'Brown Ale' being a golden color was confusing and amusing.
