Look: A clear orange-brown color. A small sandy head forms, sits in a ring, and drops some spotting.
Smell: A little minerality with some caaramel notes and a woodiness as well as a bit of an overdone sweetness.
Taste: Sweet, caramel with an odd candy sort of notes, slight minerality speaking to English malts. Very little hops presence, which is fine, but little complexity or depth to speak of.
Feel: On the lighter side of medium and a bit thinner than it ought to be, it does have good carb without too much crispness and a bit of smoothness as well.

Lacking flavor and zero scotch flavor. Nothing exciting.

Served as part of flight. Pour is caramel brown and clear, with a finger if thick, white head. Taste and aroma are to style lots of bready, sweet, caramel malts, some faint mineral flavor. Booze is well hidden, and provides a warm feel on the way down in the belly. (BA has it listed as 7.1, but the brewery has it an excellent 9.2. Maybe the balance has changed since adding). Feel is on the thinner side.
