An odd name, but not an odd brew. One part California Common and one part American Ale, the “both-both” comes from the use of two yeast strains: an ale yeast to pull out the subtle hop character and a lager yeast to create the unique flavor this beer imparts.

Served on tap at the pub in a shaker pint. Pale straw in color, near clear, nice carbonation. Nice aroma of cracker and bread crust, with some floral hops. Nice moderate feel. Bready, crackery flavor with an herbal finish. Nice.
