Silky smooth, full-bodied with roasted notes. Hearty maltiness rounds out the roasted coffee flavors.

Very nice Oatmeal Stout! Poured from howler to nonic pint glass. Dark liquid capped with fluffy mocha head. Aromas and flavors track closely: lots of roasted coffee grounds, dark, bittersweet cocoa, some nice light sweetness and that fuller, Oatmeal feel.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a mostly dark brown color with a small eggshell white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Some light stringy lace. The aroma had some milk chocolate, roasted malts, light toast and then dark chocolate. Ended with some sweet grains. The flavor moderately leaned towards the sweet side. As it warmed, more balance came out through the sweet and the roast. Nice blend in the aftertaste rolling into the finish. The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionable to sipping sort of trait to it. Smooth sweetness sets sail along my tongue as it seems to just glide exactly the way I want an oatmeal stout to run along my tongue. Overall, yes to this one! I wish I could get more of this now.
