A - excellent dark black pour, nice tan head
S - sweet stout flavors with cream, moderate coffee and vanilla
T - chocolate cream sweetness, creamy vanilla, minimal chocolate bitterness
M - nice smooth mouthfeel
O - A good smooth stout, creamy with hints of vanilla, would like more coffee and bitter taste

On bottom of can “CANNED ON 10/29/19”. In reefer at store. Stored at home at 42 degrees and served at 50 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 3.5.
First pour – Amber brown (SRM 18), translucent.
Body – Brown (SRM 20), opaque. When held to direct light, same. Direct light also reveals a large quantity of precipitate.
Head – Large (Maximum five cm, aggressive center pour), dark tan, medium density with a few embedded rocks, average retention, diminishing to a three to five mm crown and a thin complete cap.
Lacing – Good. Wide band of tiny bubbles.
Aroma – 4 – Begins with medium chocolate maltiness followed by coffee, no hops, no yeast.
Flavor – 4 – Flavor is reversed, with coffee predominating and chocolate coming in as a weaker aftertaste, not especially bitter. No hops, no yeast. No alcohol (8.5% ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. Weak gastric warming. No diacetyl or dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3.25 – Medium, watery, soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation 4. On the thin side of the stout spectrum – more like a mocha coffee. Otherwise, not bad. What is the precipitate?

16 ounce can, canned on 10/29/19, thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, cocoa, burnt/charred malt and cream. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some caramel. Good amount of roasty coffee and sweet flavors, everything meshes well together. Mouthfeel/body is medium, seemed kinda thin (for the style) at times but it's also a bit creamy and has a moderate amount of carbonation. Overall I did like this a lot, worth picking up if you're into coffee stouts!

I found this at Wegman’s and thought I would take a chance. Glad I did. Nice dark color with faint coffee smell. This stout has a little sweetness in the taste. It is smooth with great mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Good stuff

Not a fan of coffee porters drenched with vanilla, this one has that taste.

Thin tannish head rests atop an inky black body. Still smells pretty solidly of coffee three plus months after canning. There's a faint metallic scent in the background that brings things down just a smidge, though. The coffee pairs well with your standard sweet stout flavors. It's not quite at the level of Founder's Breakfast Stout, but it's a worthy contender to the throne. Wicked creamy, medium-bodied mouthfeel shines. This is part of Wyndridge Farm's "silo series" which, unless I'm mistaken, has been one-off IPAs to this point. More stouts, please. Me likey. Nice minimalist sunrise artwork on the label too. It's one of the prettiest, most striking labels I've ever laid eyes on.

 

From the tall boy can in a snifter. This fine brew pours a dark
brownish black with cola highlights and a decent head of
off white foam that dissipates to a thin ring, thin wafting film,
and shows light lacing. Nose of rich coffee, moderate cream,
moderate char, and dark bakers cocoa with touches of vanilla.
Flavors follow the nose with dark cocoa and dark rich coffee
over a plane of char and brulee with light cream and
subtle dark berry notes. Nice mouth feel; medium full
body, medium light carbonation that carries this one
nicely, and a rich coffee finish.

Fan of coffee? Fan of stouts?? Try this one!!!

A - Pitch black pour with thin, dense, light tan colored lacing. Sticks on the sides of the glass with lots of legs and great viscosity.

S - Coffee bean, dark bakers chocolate, roasted chocolate malt with a small hit of sweetness, and light char.

T - Roasted chocolate, chocolate cream, coffee, and ends with a lingering chocolate lactose char sweetness, light bitterness, with some resiny bittersweetness buried below the surface.

M - Thick with a wet finish that's a little lactose-like.

O - This is a fantastic under the radar Imperial Stout. Recommended.
