Can. This one is 5.5% ABV brewed for Beer52 (UK). Deep chestnut with a thick frothy head.
Smell - a bit chocolatey a bit nutty.
A lighter version of the aroma when tasted. Toasted brown bread.
Rather thin even for a porter. Weak carbonation.
Perhaps a summer porter? The weaker ABV has not helped this one.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is dark brown, head is tan with fine bubbles, presents 1 finger thick and dissipates to solid thin top with some spotty lacing.
Smell is chocolate, slightly nutty, hint of raisins, light roasted coffee.
Taste is similar with chocolate front, nuttiness, light raisins, coffee and toast, subtle grassy hops.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, light chocolate like sweetness, lingering acidity.
Overall a pleasant porter with solid light chocolate sweetness, moderate acidity and roast, light bitterness.

Tastes like cocoa powder, toffee covered walnuts, and lightly roasted coffee. Its hard to find a decent daily drinking porter nowadays and these guys do it right.

16 oz can
Pours very dark clear brown. Very light tan head is coarse and retains well.
Aroma is of biscuit, toffee, and nutty elements.
Flavor of bready malts, walnut, macadamia, hints of brown sugar and coppery undertones, and a dry bitter finish.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Pretty decent and tasty porter. Flavor is good. Drinks smooth. Pretty standard porter with no gimmicks. Worth a try or two. Could drink this semi-regularly. Good food pairing porter.
