A thanks to the creator of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz.can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is full of tropical fruits. Taste is pineapple, peaches, some cherries and alcohol, moderate bitterness. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a murky gold (SRM 3-4) with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is melon, pear, tropical fruits, and pineapple, with pronounced caramel malt. Mouthfeel borders on sticky. Finish is fairly sweet. Overall, a little too sweet for my tastes - a competent but not outstanding DIPA.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.49. Canned on 9/18/2020, so this is almost 3 1/2 months old.
Look: Appearance is a moderately hazy orange color. I can barely see the shadow of my finger through the glass, so it's hazy and not turbid. Small head dissipated quickly to a whispy layer.
Smell: The aroma is very sharp; there's a lot of oniony and green notes up front. Also a nice dose of dried pineapple aroma and orange citrus. Some other fruity sweet notes on the nose, but they are not distinct to me. Not much else on the nose.
Taste: Not bad - pretty palatable for a DIPA. This is a lot smoother than I expected it to be based on the nose and the description. Up front, flavors of stone fruit and citrus pith. Moderate carbonation. A mild to medium bitterness on the finish along with some lingering sweetness on the palate. Tastes interesting, but not particularly refreshing or captivating.
Feel: Moderately carbonated with a decently creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: This is my first beer from Wyndridge Farm Brewing. While I applaud their ambitious attempt to make this Silo Series DIPA with El Dorado, Lotus, & Citra Hops along with adjuncts of Oats, Wheat, & Lactose, I ultimatel find this brew to be a bit underwhelming. Is it hoppy? Yes. Is it tropical? Yes. Is it creamy? Yes. But there's just something missing about the overall cohesive element to this beer and the flavor profile that it gives off. It's a bit boring to me. There's little that is drawing me to come back for more from it. Perhaps I'm missing something because I'm not drinking the beer so fresh (3 1/2 months old) or perhaps I'm not the biggest fan of El Dorado and/or Lotus hops? It's hard to say.

16 oz can
Pours hazy orange, yellowish white head dissipates to lacing.
Smells of fresh citrus and tropical fruit notes over sweet bready malts.
Tastes of bright fresh citrus juice, sweet bready malts, herbal tea, hints of honey, and zesty and herbal hops.
Medium to full body, stinging carbonation on the tongue.
Very tasty, drinks easy if a tad slow. Nothing to complain about, just a really good hazy DIPA that I would definitely drink again.

From the Silo Series, this pint of beer was released from a cylindrical can into a clear glass liter mug. The brew is a murky and not so dirty blond. There are hits of yeast, malt and softened hops. The topping head is moderate, but enduring. Glass lacing is OK, too. This has an interesting taste, the only bothersome aspect is the creaminess and sweetness, probably from added lactose. Other than that, the body is supple, maybe aided by the lactose and the softening wheat and oats are positive additions, too. It's still hoppy from first taste to aftertaste, as a DIPA should be. The presence of the 8% ABV is very disguised. Pretty good, but not for those that distain lactose added into IPAs.
