It's a nice pour to empty a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. The head is modest, white and seemingly enduring. Not overly pungent, the aroma is mostly of hops in sort of a resinous, earthy and drupe fruit way. It drinks like that, but somehow there's more alcohol to taste than expected, more than a brew with a 7.6% ABV should deliver. Weirdly, there's a vague coconut reference in its finish. There's nothing outstanding about the taste, nor nothing, save the alcohol presence, negative here. It's a not bad, not great dry hopped double IPA. Only slightly hazy amber, it's color is actually attractive. But, there's nothing special about the glass lacing. Don't go out of your way for this one, but don't dismiss it to try.
