Locavore Beer Works

Such a great local brewery! Loved finding the back patio area. Moved out of state last summer and had our going-away get together with friends out back. Love this place!

 

 

 

 

 

been meaning to get down and check these guys out for awhile now, cool new spot been open only since the late fall. in a weird strip mall plaza, but they have a ton of space. cozy inside with a good mix of high tops, picnic tables, leather chairs and sofas, and then with a nice patio out front. beautiful place to sit on a summer afternoon. the brew house is maybe 7 barrels, but they have a ton of fermenter space, and they had maybe 12 or more beers pouring, including cask offerings. the beers we had were all okay, but all exhibited slight flaws. many were under carbonated, but the flavors were all fine. i liked the 5th season pale ale the best, and my lady enjoyed the blackberry betty quite a bit, although these beers have not yet been added here to BA. the seem to be evolving quickly though, and the place was packed. no food, but they partner with what appears to be a highly competent catering service next door, so the food options looked bomb. pet friendly, reasonable enough service, and a place to stop when in the littleton area. i expect the beer to improve fairly rapidly here.
