Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. I don't see a date on the can.
Appearance: murky, pale yellow-golden hue with a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: moderately sweet with a nice orange-peel aroma. It's not super complex, and the volume could maybe be turned up a little, but still it's a nice, classic kind of aroma. I like it.
Taste: quite a bit sweeter than the aroma suggests, with a big citrusy hop dose and just a bit of softer tropical character. There's a sharpness to the hop flavor here, though, that is not quite my favorite. That being said, I think its softer qualities *just* outweigh the sharpness.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a really nice, big creaminess for the style. Love it!
Overall: this is a pretty well-executed hazy; I just wish there were a little bit less of that sharpness around. That's what impedes drinkability for me a little bit.
