Large warehouse building in industrial area by the airport. Short bar perpendicular to the entrance on the right seats about 5 with a few tables about the room and a large lawn area on the left side of the building with more than a few picnic tables. 14 beers on tap, solid offerings. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender. Food truck.

super cool spot here, just outside of town but decidedly rural, nothing but open space out here, this place kind of comes up out of nowhere, rolling hills and big horizon looking out, awesome outside space, open and grassy with relaxed seating, i am sure it pops off here in the summer, what a lovely sit spot for a beer. its way smaller inside, a couple of big tables and a few high tops is all, just a few seats at the tiny bar, its a decent sized building, but all but a little piece of it is used for production, fermenters visible from the bar where you order. they had a solid list, maybe a dozen choices, a neat mix of hoppy stuff and lagers for the most part. i liked a pale light lager called the antidote, but i loved a slightly tangy malty red german lager the best, really neat beer, unlike any other. everything was fresh and high quality, the service was excellent, and there is obviously good energy and vibes here, just a killer spot to hang and have a few beers. they had a food truck outside too but i did not eat. i will definitely make a point to go back here on a nice spring or summer day to enjoy the property a little bit. one of the cooler beer spots in the area, a must if you are in walla walla seeking a quality beer experience!

This was actually a really cool location. It looks like an old militray base that was turned over to commercial enterpise and the area hosts a ton of small craft/artisinal shops. Quirk is loacted in this same area. Very small and spartan inside, but they have a huge yard outside with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. It helped that the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Sizeable crowd. Service and beers were very good. Definite stop on a sunny day

Located in what appears to be a newish enclave of tasting rooms in the airport section of town (wineries, a distillery and now Burwood), the tasting room is a modest size affair with high ceilings, a few different beer decorations on the wall, and a flat screen TV (not turned on during our brief stop around 4:00 on a Friday). No food is served here, but there is a different food truck parked out front each day (the food truck schedule is posted by the order area). I think there was something like a dozen or so different tables and chairs in the tasting room. The vibe here is relaxed and informal, and the tasting room seemed like a nice place to hang with a beer or three.
As for the beer, there were 7 different beers on tap, which I believe consisted of 5 cores beers and then 2 seasonals. Quality was impressive I thought. The pale ale, IPA and dubbel were particularly outstanding I thought, and even the marzen (Oktoberfest lager), pilsner and sticke were quite solid. The only beer that didn't impress me all that much was the Schwarzbier, but it was far from awful. Service consisted of walking up to an order window, placing your order, receiving your beer or beers, and then taking them back to your table (so it's difficult to give Burwood a particularly high service score, though the folks working here seemed friendly and pleasant enough).
Pricing was pretty reasonable I thought. .5L glasses were $5, or you could get a 12 ounce glass for $4. 3 ounce sample size pours were $2, or you could order a sample tray ($12 for a 7 three ounce glasses; $10 for 6 such glasses). Burwood also allows 64 ounce growler sales, priced at $19 if you have to buy a new jar along with your beer ($12 for refills).
The beer here was quite good, especially the IPA I thought. The hours here are fairly limited, so I don't know how often I'll want to drive over to the tasting room, but they list by the order window all the different restaurants and tap houses in town that carry their beer, which appeared to number around 20. So it looks like one can find Burwood beers in town (Walla Walla) without too much trouble.
This place is a very nice addition to the beer scene (such as it is) in Walla Walla.

Micro brewery in the truest sense. These guys are helping to bring craft brew back to eastern Washington and doing it with style. While they are starting out in an "incubator" space at the local airport, they have some cool tables, card games and really good beer to keep you happy. Add to that the Pizza Truck usually parked out back and you have the makings of a great evening with your friends or even you kids, yes, kids are welcomed and they have house made root beer too.
