Pronounced like the name Rosa. A slight twist Only Gose to Show Lime, this is a refreshing salty sour wheat ale aged in tequila barrels for one year. We juice large amounts of whole limes to supply an intense lime flavor that has this beer reminding drinkers of a margarita.

1 PINT can
Served in an imperial pint glass
This beer pours golden with a slight haze. it is topped with a fleeting head.
Briny key lime aroma with a complimentary tequila smell.
Lots of tart lime flavor. It has a lightly salty margarita taste. The tequila is mild and in the back end and carries into the aftertaste. Refreshing
Medium bodied with a semi dry finish
Pretty tasty gose. Reminiscent of a margarita. Should have saved it to pair with some Mexican food.

Pint can to snifter. This one pours a clear gold, decent white head that disappears quickly. Smell sharp lime citrus, hints of oak from the aging. Taste is very much gose, tangy citrus up front, puckery acidic sour, finishing with an cedar after taste. The barrel aging gives me all cedar or sandlewood notes, nothing resembling “tequila.” Finish is crisp, tons of carb. No sweetness at all. Comparing to Founders Mas Agave (arguably the same style), these are is nothing alike. Mas is thick and sweet, piles of “tequila” taste which has me wondering if Founders added an adjunct. I loved Mas and was hoping for something similar. This one isn’t, but is nice in a different way. This is gose all the way, plus some wood. If I blind tasted, I’d say it was aged on raw wood staves. Overall, a fun beer, maybe one I would have appreciated more if I hadn’t had Mas Agave first.
