Billed as a sour pale ale, I was intrigued and hoping for great things. It was a refreshing change from the current over hopped concoctions breweries are pumping out to catch the trend wave of ipas. But there was something in the combination that didn't quite gel. The sour notes were there up front, but too much swing back to the hop notes to finish just left it as a novelty for me. Different, yes, intriguing, yes, good idea, maybe, spot on, no.
