This is a solid take on a hefe. Reminds me a lot of Paulaner Hefe. Not big on the phenols....bubble gum, cloves ,etc....But it has a nice slightly overripe banana impression with a solid wheaty malt profile.
It's enjoyable and highly drinkable while leaning sweetish.

Golden yellow with some slight haze. Effervescent bubbles spiral up to the top, a thin layer of head sticks around.
Nose is of stale grain and some light bubble gum. Clove, banana, baked grain.
Flavors of baked grain, followed by some circus peanut, followed by ashy and chalky flavors. Stale grain and cigarette ash finish out.
Feel is quenching and dry at the same time. Nicely carbonated. A chalkiness on the finish.
Overall, it's an okay treat. The ashy flavors kill the beer, but I keep drinking it if only for the front side of things. Probably wouldn't recommend, order, or buy again though.

Take 16 Hay Loft, 5.7% ABV, 15 IBU, Style is Hefeweizen. Poured thin and golden with a little white head. Served in a frosted glass (yes, I know), which was excellent given how hot it is. Nose is yeast freshness, taste is yeast but not quite bread dough, and slight bananas. Very refreshing. Mouthfeel is good, overall an excellent Hefeweizen, though not up to Weihenstephaner standard.

Pours a typical Hefeweize apperance, with a hazy golden body and a small white head which leaves quite a bit of lacing.
The wheat definitely comes out in the smell, with cloves and some tarts.
This is delicious. The restraint which define the style is defintely present, as is the banana, cloves and wheat. This is one of the most authentic hefeweizen I've had outside from Germany, and it comes from rural Minnesota!
Light mouthfeel, with quite a bit of carbonation.

This pours a very murky golden color. The head is frothy, and sticks around. The nose is very delicious wheat smell. It also seems a bit citrusy. The taste is got the standard wheat flavor. It is also got a slight citrus taste, that I got in the nose. Delicious.

Enjoyed on tap.
Arrives in the proper Hefe glass a hazy straw color with a creamy white head that leaves nice lacing down the glass.
The aroma is banana and cloves with a bit of lemon and grainy sweetness.
Taste is ripe banana and clove up front with a bit of lemon in the middle and a crisp, lightly bittering and fast finish.
Mouthfeel is medium and creamy-smooth.
Good stuff.

64oz Growler fill from the brewery.
L Appropriately hazy but not murky yellow with a thick frothy head that billows from the glass
S reminiscent of a spiced banana bread with citrus undertones
T classic flavors of hefe dancing in balance from banana to clove and everything in between
F spritzy while soft and satisfying
O I’m stunned to experience such a fantastic locally made hefe. This compares favorably to the best imports.

Delightfully surprised! Good nose, good flavor. Not too heavy, pretty light offering.
