Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.
The final beer of my first visit to Lunar. Right on. It pours a slightly hazy amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises orange, lemon, grapefruit, caramel, and pine. The taste runs very similarly, though seemingly without the flesh of the orange, the peel being favored instead. The fruit comes through bitterer than expected, nearly pursing my lips at times. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, sticky finish. Overall, it was hard for me to drink this, with the bitterness a tad overpowering. Beyond that, though, this was a fairly solid IPA.
