On-tap at the brewpub; served in a shaker pint.

A: Hazy pale amber with 1.5 finger's worth of off-white head.

S: Smells of fresh-cut grass and dry, citrus hops. There is a faint marshmallow sweetness in the nose and the whole thing just SMELLS balanced.

T: And that smell comes through in the taste. It hits you in waves: first, the grassy, dry hops pound your palate, then the sweet middle balanced it and it finishes with a fruity, but bitter aftertaste with hints of grapefruit and butter.

D: Incredibly drinkable stuff! It is perfectly refreshing and the OATS! I really don't understand why more brewers don't oat up their APAs. The mouthfeel is creamy and luxurious and pushes the flavour across your tongue.

Overall: This is a really solid APA. Its original, tasty and downright chuggable. Man, would I love to have this in bottles. Its the polar opposite of the dry, asprin-esque Daisy Cutter, but it certainly has its place. This would make a good canidate for a winter pale ale.

Pretty hazey orange peel, pale amber mix with just a few small bubbles and a thin film and anice ring o' foam with just a little lacing. The aroma gives of hints of oaty, wheaty goodness. A little cloves, a few bananas along with someother light fruits. Very unique smelling pale ale. The palate is very upfront with the sweet fruits in this beer. Lots of cloves with a mix of pears, apricots, and peaches along with some mild hopping. Very sooth andsweet palate. Makes me think of an of style nectar with a lot of sessionability

(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer has a golden yellow hazy body with a creamy off-white head that last through most of the beer. There is a gentle carbonation that is hidden in the body most of the time.

S- This beer has a spicy hope note with a fresh pale malt smell with notes of biscuit malt as it warms.

T- This beer has a smooth pale malt flavor with a faint note of biscuit and graham finishing with a slight earthy quality. The hops have a nice ginger hint and a bright fresh hop finish.

M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel but it is chewy with a slight slippery finish.

D- This beer is complex with good malt flavors that have a twist to them. The hops are fresh vibrant and really compliment the malts.

The beer was served in a standard pint glass. It was a hazy gold with a decent head and sheets of lacing.

The nose was of grains and hops, not overpowering, but very attractive.

Wow, this is an interesting beer. It is great combination of sweet and bitter. I’m sure the sweetness comes from the oatmeal. I see they use Styrian hops and they lend a very nice flowery and slightly peppery taste to the beer. Nice complex layers of flavors.

The mouthfeel is very silky and the beer is extremely drinkable. A perfect session beer. This one’s a winner!!
