Poured into a pint glass.

Nice caramel color, but minimal head that lasts for a blink of an eye. No visible bubbling while in the bar. The aroma was sweet toasted muffins, white bread, and caramel with maybe a faint splash of honey. Smells very warm and enticing on a Winter's Wednesday. The taste had a mineraly dry feel with the sweet and somewhat alcoholic warmth that comingles well with the heavily toasted, but not quite roasted malt flavors. The Villa Park water really makes an impression on Lunar's beers. Minerally and dry for almost all styles tht they brew. Not a bad thing necessarily, adds this brewers signature to any brew they churn out.

You can feel sme warmth, but its not overpowering at all. Almost sessionable if it wasnt so high.
