this was copper in color and mostly clear. aroma was reminiscent of anchor steam which is the style it is clearly based on, with yeasty, bready notes. taste was a mixture of light malt sweetness and balancing hop bitterness. towards the lighter end in body as well. finish is relatively dry.

Pours a wholesome amber with hints of pine wood mixed with medium bubbling and a thin, lace of head. Slight lacing With the first pour from my growler. The aroma was a bit soapy and adjuncty when it was straight from the fridge. But as it armed, it had a subtle piney hop aroma mixed with some west coast biscuits. The tastehad a touch of soap, but the astringent hops made up for it. Soe dry bready maltsand a hint of oak and pine tar.Not bad. Went down easy with its tight body and palate cleansing ability.

A new offering from the Lunar. It was described as a uniquely American in style lager brewed as an ale.

The beer was a very cloudy orange with a dense chiffon like head. Good lacing.

Fresh nose of cascade hops and some sweet malt/grains.

Taste is more ale like. Brisk and bitter hopping adds a nice citrus taste. Plenty of fruit (red apple) as well. About ½ way through the beer turns slightly sour (think green apples) but then ends more on the bitter side. Nice complex flavor profile.

Soft mouth with very well calibrated carbonation. Extremely easy to drink, would a perfect session beer. I really liked the kicked-up hops in this one!
