Pours a strong black hue, but not thick looking. Looks like its packed full of flavor, but no head. The aroma has coffee, light milk chocolate, an overall dark roasted malt bill. The taste starts roasted chocolate, then moves to light vanilla and dry coffee malts. The palate is dry, dark, yet...for lack of a better word, fun. I love the way this beer feels. Very easy to drink.

A pretty good porter. Typical of Micros. Not too high of gravity or complexity, but well brewed. A twangy, roasted grain aroma with chocolate and barley malt. Light hop balance with a grape or plumb note. Tastes of dark malts, roasted grain and the same plumb or grape twang. A little yeasty or bready. Body is medium--a little light, but fine. Nice low carbonation leads to creaminess, but thinning late. Finishes a bit roasted bitter combined with the hops. A bold but fleeting aftertaste.
