A - Deep gold/orange with a firm white head. Some nice lace is left on the glass. Looks pretty good!
S - Deep toasty grains, malty carrot cake notes, and some nice hops hit my nose. Smells very much "to style." And I love this style of beer!
T - Malty, sweet, and very much like carrot cake. This is balanced out by some toasty flavors and dry leafy (autumn leaf) hops. Some nice buttery flavors are there too.
M - Medium bodied and malty with a only slightly dry finish.
D - This has enough flavor to be sipped, but it's quenching and tasty enough to make it a session brew. This went great with our assortment of pizzas. Great beer. I'm super-impressed with Lunar.

Very good Maerzen by the always-reliable Lunar staff.
Appearance: dark red body, nice off-white head with good CO2.
Smell: Subdued caramal-ly nose; not very aromatic hop-wise (then again, maerzen's really aren't, are they?)
Taste: Nicely complex malty sweetness up front; finish with a good, beefy hop dryness (me like!)
Mouthfeel: Nice, solid body throughout; not a very high abv beer; fairly quenching
Drinkability: I'll believe I'll have another please!
