Yellow Moon Rice'n is described as a pre-prohibition lager made with rice.
Poured in standard pint, the beer is a hazy yellow-gold with a tight white head & good lacing.
The aroma is of apple, spice and floral notes. Very inviting!
The taste tracks similar to the smell. Fresh light fruit, bread malts and some nice pepper/floral notes from the hops. If only current American macros were this good.
The mouth is pleasantly thick with a slightly low level of carbonation (works great with this beer). This is an easy drinker and it would be great to pair with about any food.
