(Served in a American pint glass)
This was the 2010 I.C.B.G. Replicale single hop beer. It is a straight pale malt grain bill ant 100% Simcoe hops.

A- This beer has a deep orangeish-yellow body with a thick creamy head that has a few craters in it. There is a gentle carbonation that supports the head.
S- There is a full cat pee aroma from the Simcoe hops. There is soft pale malt underneath and a woody hop quality to the cat pee. As the beer opens up the hops take on a sweaty/musty quality.
T- The soft fresh pale malt is quickly covered by the pungent cat pee flavor of the hops. There is a soft pungent bitterness that lingers after each sip. As the beer opens up there is a light field corn quality to the pale malt.
M- The medium mouthfeel has a tight fizz in the finish that boost the hops.
D- The full pungent cat pee really shows the character off the simcoe hops and is great as a teaching beer. It is a bit to much for me by itself.
