Huge deception!
The bar here dont agree with there own filosoph :'(
I have been fallow James and Martin (the founders) for a long time. The way they talk about how amaze craft beer is was what make me brew beer on my own.
In this week I fond my self a opportunity to visit one of their bar (which is very far from my home town). And in the same time this campaign of giving a pint of punk IPA free was going. I thought it was the perfect time to present to my girl friend the beer that inspired me to make beer. So we got the vouchers and went to the bar yesterday on Thursday. We started the order asking for the Prototype Season for my girlfriend and saying that we would like one Pint of the free Punk IPA after.
The waiter sad they have the beer but don't have the promotional batch and they can give me only the 330ml botle but wouldn't serve me the pint. I insisted and explained to her the situation, I have changed a booked flight only to be there, etc. She sad they will have the promotional bacht only 10 days from now. I ask to talk with the manager and she sad the same.
I felt so frustrated, I been talking for weeks about this experience to discover the same company that make me so passoned about craft beer can not keep up with ther own word.
I don't care about which batch is, nither the price, nither if the cask is red or blue. IF YOU CAN'T KEEP UP WITH YOUR ON WORD I WILL NOT BE YOUR COSTUMER!
What happened was not only very frustrating, but also illegal as you are promoting a untrue campaign.
Sadly I will take all the measures necessarys to defend my rites as a costumer

The Pinheiros neighborhood is quickly becoming the neighborhood in the city for craft beer. Given how bad traffic in the neighborhood can be during the evening rush hour, I'm sure this gives commuters a happy alternative option. BrewDog is nearby the Faria Lima artery and also a quick walk to Delirium Café, so the location is great. The interior is fun as well. It fits the BrewDog punk theme and has an industrial feel to it too. The early evening starts slow for business, but in time can get very busy.
Fittingly, there are 10 taps dedicated to BrewDog beer, plus an additional 10 taps for guest beer. You can find beers like Dead Pony, Jack Hammer, and 5 AM Saint flowing from tap, plus guests beers from Seasons, Evil Twin, Invicta, and De Struise. If the 20 taps aren't enough, there are around 100-150 bottles to choose. Most of the beer are poured in customized BrewDog chalices holding half a pint. Why not a full pint you ask, well craft beer in Brazil is expensive, and already half-pint pours of BrewDog hit in the R$16-19 range. The beers I had were fresh and taken care of.
Another positive note is the service. Very passionate for beer and interested to hear and taste beers from abroad. To add to the pleasure, a limited food menu includes some tasty hamburgers.
BrewDog São Paulo is not just a place for BrewDog, but a place for beer. I'm surprised this franchise didn't make its way to North America before South America.
